Sat 17th June, Cairns to Mission Beach
Yet another new group of people, though unfortunately the average of of this group was probably 20! We drove to the Atherton Tablelands, visited a lake Eatham (created from a crater), visited Millaa Millaa waterfall and walked around a rainforest (Lacey Creek)looking for the Cassowary bird. Then headed for Mission Beach, accommodation here was at Scottys and was really good, including a pool. I went for walk down the beach then went for a swim in our pool. After this we went for dinner, Kangaroo of course, then sat up chatting to Charlotte and Stef before getting an early night.
