Thurs 15th June, Hughenden to Cairns
Over these 3 days we travelled 2250km, saw lots of deserts, kangaroos and several Australian movies! Swam in a waterfall/pool in the Woorooneran National Park..very chilly! Booked into Global Backpackers where I organised my sailing trip for the Whitsundays and my trip with Cooldingos on Fraser Island. Evening spent in a bar waiting for the footie but as it didn’t start to 2am in the morning I gave up and went to bed – My trip the next day was to start 7.20am.
