Working In Melbourne

Tues 26th June, Fraser Island

I’d decided not to do a self drive trip on Fraser Island after hearing a few stories about lost deposits, vehicles tipped over…so took the safe option with Cool Dingos which proved to be very good. In the morning too a ferry over to Fraser, caught the bus then we walked to Basin Lake where I was the only person to attempt a swim, it was cold but refreshing. We then went for another walk back to the bus where lunch was waiting. The afternoon was spent at Lake Mackenzie – As you can see from the photo the water was an amazing colour. The evening was spent playing card games.
